Oh dear, and the year 2008 is soon over. And a lot has happened, can't even remember what all!

First of all, I graduated from high school with good grades. And after a lot of extra studying I got into University to study Finnish and Scandinavian History in Oulu University, and so far I like it. All the studying has unfortunately taken a lot of my time and I haven't been able to draw much lately. I've been doodling during my lessons, and I'll try to scan and gather them up during my Christmas break. And I'm still planning on setting up my own website, but that's still a plan *lol* University does offer me free website space, but we'll see if I have time to learn HTML again.

Own home is a good thing, I can do what ever I want. My neighbors are quite loudy tho', lot's of screaming and running children..

Anyway, I'd like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a good upcoming year 2009!

Graaaah!
I hate my summerjob. I work at the local art gallery. It's an easy job but very very frustrating. No one visits there so we just sit there playing cards, reading, sitting and gossiping and drawing. I don't mind getting paid for just sitting, but I could use all that time for something useful. At least I get to draw a lot. I have a huge bunch of sketches but I'm too lazy to finish them up <_< I'll post some of them up later.

But for much more fun things.. I got into university. Actually I got into Scandinavic history (and queuing for general history on place nro 1. I wish I'd get there), mathematics and graphic designer. But I'm going for the history one. I already got a quite good appartment from Oulu. It's really big and the rent isn't that bad. I'm so happy I wish I could move soon!

OMG. It's summer, finally! Then again, it doesn't feel like summer break since I've been lazing around since February. I'll be working whole summer in our local art museum Art Anna (with a lousy pay, but it was the best I could get).

I've spent the last weeks with entrance exams. First I had English, History and last week Graphic Designer. I have the feeling I wont get in with English, with History I have a change and the Designer is quite certain. Oh well, I get the results on 30th of June. I really hope I get to study history

I promise I will draw a whole lot more from now on! I have more time than before and most likely I'll be sitting alone at the gallery because no one really goes there :'3 So I'll have load of time to scribble my own stuffs. Yay!

I've gotten a lot of questions how I don't have very many visits since I've been a memeber for quite a long time. I guess that's the bad side on DevinantArt. Even tho' you hang out for a long time, you really have to be an amazing artist and/or have a large network to have lot of visits. But I don't really mind that I don't draw for comments or favorites, I draw since it's fun.

My finals are almost over! And so far they've gone well I only have history left on Wednesday, then I can start studying for entrance exams. My summerjob won't start till 16th of June, so I can basicly laze around till then! I'm so going to enjoy my time and draw a lot. Also, my New York trip is getting more certain now, so most likely I'm going there :3

I'll start my glorious freetime by going to Oulu for a week to babysit my sister's dog. I'm not quite sure if I'm taking my laptop with me, but if so, I'll most likely start working on my own website and draw a lot new piccies Too bad my friend can't come there with me till on Monday, so we can't check out the nightlife there, unless something happens on monday or tuesday

Waaah! It's already March! It was Christmas just a few wees ago.. ._. Oh well, March means that Spring is on its way, and that means a lot of work to do. I have my math finals in 1.5 weeks and I'm starting to get scared since I haven't studied really. I wish all the test would be over already <_< Studuying is keeping me way too busy. But that doesn't mean I haven't drawn anything :B I have a bunch of sketches waiting to be either scanned or finished up + a new OC. Can't wait to introduce her

After the exams are over I'll start studying for my university entrance exams, well, mostly history. And I need to work on my advance artworks (..? ennakkotehtävät?) for another university. I really hope I'll get in studying history, but it seems a bit unrealistic at the moment. Oh well, we'll find out in a few months

And May.. I'm really looking forward to May for two reasons.
1) I graduate on 31st of May
2) I'm going to New York! (most likely)
My friend and I found a rather cheap flight and hostel, so the trip wouldn't be all that expensive. I'm a bit scared tho', two girls in a huge city alone :'3 Thank God we've been there before and the streets are pretty easy.
